helvetica documentary review

so, i took a look at the helvetica documentary earlier today, and i have to say that it was quite interesting and informative. i never knew that helvetica was that important in the world, heck, i didn't even know what helvetica was until last week in graphic design class. but regardless, it was interesting to know how the font came to be, where it came from, and how designers use it for almost everything nowadays. all i have to say about it is that if you're a designer who's looking for a few pointers about the aspects of textual design, then this documentary is for you!

my redesigned logo

hey people what's up? i just finished my redesigned logo. here is the product that i did

we all know or at least most of us know about Frank's Red Hot cayenne pepper sauce right? so i took that logo and redesigned it and this is the outcome.

i basically thought that the original logo wasn't emphasizing the general image of the product, so i added some of my own touches and this was the result.

and this was also my first project in illustrator so please be fair with your comments.
